Kernel Virtual Machine

ACT USA's Virtualization Technology Model is based on the KVM (Kernel Virtual Machine) project. KVM requires x86 based hardware that supports the Intel VT or AMD AMD-V virtualization technologies. By handing off the heavy lifting of virtual machines to the hardware, and eliminating the requirement for GUI management systems, ACT USA has been able to achieve higher density and lower load levels in their Virtual Server Cluster Solution.

ACT USA offers consulting services to assist other businesses and educational organizations in implementing KVM.
